Have you ever wondered how many people are internet business owners today?
Do you have a business idea that you want to implement online but don’t know how to get started?
Or do you just want to start your own online business but really don’t understand how and where to start?
If you answer yes for one of these questions, don’t worry, I’m here to share with you three easy steps to start your own business on the internet.
Step 1: Select Niche
What do you prefer? What is your field of expertise? What products or services do you want to sell to your customers? A niche (for example, niche health, social niche, etc.) in the internet world such as industry (for example, real estate industry, manufacturing, etc.) in the physical world.
Some people choose a profitable niche that they don’t like, while others choose to pursue their passion and try to make their business profitable. So how do you have to choose? The answer lies on asking yourself this question: If this niche you choose is like a full time job you have to do every day, will you be happy? If you are fine with it, then continue and continue to step 2!
Step 2: Prepare your internet business store
Now after you identify your niche, the next step is to set up your online store settings, which is your internet business website.
First, register an email address for your business. Don’t use your personal email address now because you will expect a lot of entry business emails.
Second, you need to register a domain name for your business website in, for example, Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc. Domain names can be your company name or whatever name you want to have for your website.
Third, register for hosting account (example hosting provider is HostGator) to host your website. On the one hand, hosting is similar to landlords that rent your store room to place your product or provide your service.
Fourth, register for an auto responder account (example is getresponse, aweber) so you can save your customer’s email address and broadcast the bulletin or email them automatically.
Last but not least, register for your free paypal account to receive payment from your customers!
Step 3: Build a list of your customers
The final step of starting your own internet business is to start promoting your business through different channels, for example, through social media like Facebook, getting potential traffic or customers to your website and building your customer list!
